Merry Christmas Podnuh!

When one of us celebrates a birthday and for many of the holidays we release some ballons so Podnuh can party with us. Today the ballons reached heaven in no time. Podnuh was ready to party with us. Merry Christmas Podnuh! Watch over us.

The day after

The kids woke up yesterday wanting to know if they had school. Timothy said it had snowed again and wanted to play in it. It is really weird looking around outside and seeing white. By noon yesterday there was not much left.

What is good for Mama is good for you

When I was growing up in the 1970's my mom and dad would take me to see my cousins Gary and Barry Barocco play basketball for Archbishop Rummel. I have some great memories watching them play and just being with my Uncle Freddie and Aunt Ida and other cousins. I knew all of the Raider cheers. Now the next generation of Baroccos is playing for Rummel. My cousin's son Hunter is a freshman and plays on the varsity. Wednesday night Rummel was playing at Fontainblue High School on the Northshore. How lucky was that. My kids had fun watching the game. Timothy was yelling "Go Raiders." He would also yell "Defense" whenever anyone else was yelling it whether it was for Rummel or not. Analynn enjoyed just having the popcorn and a drink. Don't ask her about the game. Rob and I enjoyed the game and being with my cousins. Better Luck next time Raiders. I know we will go to more games once district play starts in January.

Can you believe a SNOW DAY?

The second day that I am writing our new blog and it is a SNOW DAY! Yes, can you believe a SNOW DAY in Southeastern Louisiana. When we woke up this morning we looked outside and it was raining. I looked at the radar and saw that it was snowing in Baton Rouge. I called Stephanie and told her to look outside. She starts yelling "it is snowing in Baton Rouge!" Than she says are you sure it is not snowing there? I look out the window and sure enough it was starting to snow. Analynn and Timothy are up by now and want to go play in the snow. Timothy lays on the "WET" grass and wants to make a snow angel. I say "Baby, I am so sorry but we will never have enough snow here for us to make snow angels." Little did I know. Two hours later and 4 inches of snow later Timothy and Analynn were able to make snow angels. Timothy said, "this is the best Christmas ever." Analynn agrees! Oh yeah Timothy thinks snow taste "just like water." Hope everyone enjoyed their "SNOW DAY'!

An Attempt at History

My good friend Annie Kellum started a blog the other day. In her first post she says she is doing it for her girls. I started thinking what a great idea. Donna Wallace is always saying you should be writing all the things the kids say down so you will remember. I guess in today's world everyone has more time on the computer than with a pen and pad. Here is my version of the Our Family History book. Aren't all history books on the computer now?
This picture was taken Saturday at Pancakes with Santa at MQP. Timothy tells Santa " I like you this year." Analynn tells Santa "Remember Timothy did not like you last year? Remember huh?" Santa looks at her and says "Oh, yes I remember!"
